Ilé Alo Terms of Use

Effective 8 September 2018

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and www.ilealo.com. They govern your use of this site, services, and content (“Services”).

By using Ilé Alo, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree to any of the Terms, you can’t use Ilé Alo. We can change these Terms at any time. If a change is material, we’ll let you know before they take effect.

The Content

You own the rights to the content you create and post on Ilé Alo.

When your content is created with or submitted to Ilé Alo, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display your content and any name, username, voice, or likeness provided in connection with your content in all media formats and channels now known or later developed.  This license includes the right for us to make your content available, broadcast, distribution, or publication by other companies, organisations, or individuals who partner with Ilé Alo. You also agree that we may remove metadata associated with your content, and you irrevocably waive any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to your content.

We may, in our sole discretion, delete or remove your content at any time and for any reason, including for a violation of these Terms, a violation of our Community Guidelines, or if you otherwise create liability for us.

You’re responsible for the content you post. This means you assume all risks related to it, including someone else’s reliance on its accuracy, or claims relating to intellectual property or other legal rights.

You’re welcome to post content on Ilé Alo that you’ve published elsewhere, as long as you have the rights you need to do so. By posting content to Ilé Alo, you represent that doing so doesn’t conflict with any other agreement you’ve made.

We can remove any content you post for any reason. You can delete any of your posts, or your account, anytime.

Who can use Ilé Alo?

Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to create an Ilé Alo account or otherwise use the Services. By using Ilé Alo, you affirm that you are over 13.

How you can’t use Ilé Alo

  • You can’t create or submit content that violates our Community Guidelines or attempts to circumvent any content-filtering techniques we use.
  • You can’t use the Services to violate applicable law or infringe any person or entity’s intellectual property or any other proprietary rights.
  • You can’t attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s Account or to the Services (or to other computer systems or networks connected to or used together with the Services);
  • You can’t use the Services to harvest, collect, gather or assemble information or data regarding the Services or users of the Services.
  • You can’t do anything to interfere with or impair the intended operation of the Service.
  • You can’t attempt to create accounts or access or collect information in unauthorized ways. This includes creating accounts or collecting information in an automated way without our express permission.

Miscellaneous

Disclaimer of warranty – Ilé Alo provides the Services to you as is. You use them at your own risk and discretion. That means they don’t come with any warranty. None express, none implied. No implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, title or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability – Ilé Alo won’t be liable to you for any damages that arise from your using the Services. This includes if the Services are hacked or unavailable. This includes all types of damages (indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary). And it includes all kinds of legal claims, such as breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort, or any other loss.

No waiver – If Ilé Alo doesn’t exercise a particular right under these Terms, that doesn’t waive it.

Severability – If any provision of these terms is found invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, you agree that the court should try to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision and that other provisions of the Terms will remain in full effect.

Choice of law and jurisdiction – These Terms are governed by English law, without reference to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree that any claim arising from the Services must take place in a UK courts.

Entire agreement – These Terms (including any document incorporated by reference into them) are the whole agreement between Ilé Alo and you concerning the Services.
